“We absolutely loved staying at the cabin!! We had a blast looking at all the old antiques on the walls. We enjoyed feeding the chickens and looking at the horses. We saw ducks, turtles and deer. We will definitely stay there again when we are visiting!! Thank you Ann and Carl for a wonderful place to stay!!”

“While historial on the outside, the interior was stunningly decorated. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with beautiful dishes and everything we needed for cooking, We enjoyed the downtown shops, which were within walking distance. Nice walking trail right out the front door. My family and I enjoyed the time away from the twin cities in a beautiful and quiet get away. Thank you to the owners for sharing their place with us.”

“We were attending a wedding in the area so we’re looking for a VRBO for us and several family members to stay. This is a gem of a place for families to enjoy- inside and out! We loved sitting on the back patio watching the sunset, as well as hanging out on the large sectional in the living room enjoying the view. Would be great for a longer stay- I just wish we had more than a weekend wedding planned. Joe and Nancy are great hosts.”

“The house had plenty of room for me and my 8 friends (and 5 bathrooms helps a lot). The lot is semi-secluded with a big yard on the lake. This was the second time we have stayed there and will definitely be going back.”

“Perfect setting for some time with family! We had hours of cards and games on the big dining table, along with good food cooked in a well-stocked kitchen. Every room is comfortable and cozy, with beautiful views of the river and lots of turkeys and deer to watch from the deck.”

“We actually rented 2 apartments near each other for graduation weekend. The apartments were awesome! Easy to walk to grocery store, Applebees, McDonalds. Beds and furnishings and decorations are really nice! Would recommend to families.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Bell Tower. It was located near where we needed to be and the host was very good at responding to my inquiries. We were 3 couples and it was a little awkward with the connecting bedroom. It would be fine for families with kids staying in the connecting room but it was different having a couple have to walk through another couple’s bedroom in the middle of the night or while trying to get ready. There is plenty of outdoor space and parking. Overall a nice place.”
