“A beautiful view and quiet area ”

“The cottage is cute and quirky with a great view of the lake. It was very peaceful. We spent a day on the back porch working while looking at the lake. I think it is in need of a deep spring cleaning, however. I’m extremely sensitive to smells, and there was a strong pet odor, I opened the windows to help air out the unit. Overall, a good experience. Kyle was extremely helpful and kind.”

“This property is well situated in The Villages and just down the street from the Sawgrass Square, and an easy golf cart drive to The Brownwood and Lake Sumter Landing town squares. There are two large Publix Supermarkets close by as well as other shopping and dining opportunities in the town squares. The property is well maintained and was a pleasure to stay at for the week we were there. When we texted to property owners with any questions we had, they were very prompt in their response”

“My wife and l cannot say enough about the great experience we had on our 10 day visit at Marilyn’s. Owner Mark and his wife Tiffany were extremely accommodating and friendly. The house on Montoya street was very, very clean, comfortable and such a great location in Lady Lake between Sumpter Lake and Spanish Springs where shopping and Restaurants are easily accessible. You will ABSOLUTELY NOT BE disappointed in the whole experience. We will definitely return for other future visits. Manny and……

“It was a bit tricky to find as it is on a side road not the actual address of the main house but mission accomplished-I found it. I was happy to off the busy main road. I found everything easily and enjoyed my stay. I never saw the host or had any communication other than via email thru VRBO. I would recommend this as it was very well appointed and clean.”

“This was our first time visiting the villages. We loved our place and had a great time. There was some food left in the pantry, coffee and other little things that made it feel at home. We loved the squares. Brownwood square is close enough with golf cart but, I would take care for Sumter lake.”

We couldn't have a thsked for a more gracious host than Brad. The proximity of the house to Lake Sumner Landing was OK, making it a convenient spot for our activities. The kitchen was fully equipped, and all we needed were groceries to feel right at home. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we highly recommend this property.”

“My boyfriend and I were looking for a weekend getaway with our two German Shepherds. We found this beautiful log home!! It was beautifully decorated and it has an amazing dog friendly yard! Our puppies were free to play in the yard and explore while being completely secure. We would highly recommend and would love to stay again! The owner was very easy to contact and communicate with. 10/10 for sure! Very convenient to a lot of trails/forest for hiking if the heat cooperates!”

“We enjoyed our stay. The home is located within driveable distance to many attractions including Universal Studios and Disney as well as the beach. My only concerns were that I didn’t have adequate cookware to cook with. I fortunately brought my own 9x13 Pyrex pan so I was able to cook in that. The nonstick cookware that is offered in the home is scratched and when I cooked with it it smelled like cigarette smoke. Overall we enjoyed our trip and the house was great for the price and to rest……

“Place is very nice new and clean. Problem is knowing how to get in there I drove around place 3 times as off the main road not great signage no parking other than limited street parking or Valet for me this is bad as I go in and out a lot hate waiting for Valet and having to move car every 4 hours on street to not get towed.”
