“Beautiful renovated apartment in historic building. The only negatives are the flights of stairs to navigate, 3rd sleeping area is just an open loft and per person tourist tax that wasn't communicated until we had been there 22 hours. The apartment was clean and well done overall.”

“Only able to stay for a couple nights but will definitely stay again whenever we return to Florence. It’s only a 5-7 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. LOTS of shopping just down the street but very quiet neighborhood. The check in process was very easy and the lift helps with getting the bags to the top. I had to put 4 stars for the “accuracy of online listing” but that was I my because they got rid of the hot tub. Overall this is maybe one of the best places I’ve stayed at on VRBO.”

“The best thing is the location, and the accommodations were good. Having read the reviews we knew what to expect and were not surprised. The downsides were mainly the six flights of stairs and the fact that the bathroom is shared. Antonio was accommodating and offered good advice about what to see and where to eat. A couple things that could be done easily to improve the stay for guests would be to provide some closet and/or drawer space and to have a clear place in the bathroom for a guest……

“We have been lucky enough to do a lot of travelling over the past 20 years. Without question, Ginevra was the most attentive and accommodating host we have ever been lucky enough to stay with. She was extremely attentive to our needs and questions and so quick to respond. She met us, personally, at check in and her warmth made us feel like we were staying with an old friend. “This is a beautifully arranged and hosted location. It is perhaps 2 kilometers from central Florence, with a steep uphill at the end, but we walked there and back every day except the first. It's really out in the country in an apartment that is part of a big house, with its own entrance. The salon is enormous. Our hosts helped with everything we needed, including a prompt taxi on our departure day.”

“I returned to Florence for the 4th time with two adult daughters. We always try to stay in the historical district, second time near the Uffizzi. The apartment was immaculate, communication with Vivian was great..she always responded very quickly... only a couple of issues: for a 2 bath apartment only one 1/4 filled hand soap so we purchased another..in one bath maybe only 1/2 container of bath gel, the other bathroom had a very small container of shampoo I used as bath gel...we stayed 7 days so……

“Property was fine, nice and cool and very well situated. 66 steps up to the apartment was challenging and we are fit and able. Lugging suitcases was a challenge , and also at the end of a very hot day out sightseeing doing the stairs was difficult . We loved the central location … it was perfect! Instructions to open apartment door were complicated. We had a great stay and appreciated the bottle of Chianti from our host, Martina, who allowed us a later checkout. Grazie!”

“It was a great location to walk to the local attractions, a few minutes walk from the Ponte Vecchio, and about 10 to the Uffizi gallery. The only downsides are that it is in a ZTL but that comes with staying in the heart of the city, and you need to take your own separated trashes out to the trash can down the street. That's not necessarily a bad thing, just not accustomed to doing that since we are American. Be aware that the bedrooms are downstairs in a basement and the only way to access is……
