“We've stayed here several times now and love the convenience to downtown restaurants and shops. The staff are always so friendly. It's not a fancy hotel but we're not there to sit in our room. Sandpoint has got to be one of the most amazing little towns (don't tell anyone!) We enjoyed our stay so much we ended up buying a house nearby. The manager is a photo buff and gave us excellent recommendations for local art. Can't recommend this place enough!”

“Beautifully decorated with exactly what you need. Cozy and warm with modern renovations. The ONLY complaint I have is you can hear other visitors in the next rooms having normal level conversations. Loved the sound of the train and the rain on the roof. Added to the cozy. Would highly recommend.”

“First time staying at this property, the road turning off the highway was a little tricky to find and could easily be passed. The outside building is nothing special, but we were very pleasantly surprised with the suite we stayed in. Very cute, warm and cozy, clean and many amenities that accentuated our visit. Great destinations basically just to sleep and fairly close to all the things.”

“The condo was just as advertised. Furniture was great, beds were acceptable. The greatest asset was the ski-in/ski-out. Many boast this perk, but we literally walked out the back door, put on skis, and skied down to the base. You have to pole a bit or take the skis off and walk the 10 yards to the lift, but it was very convenient. “We came to Sandpoint to help out as volunteers for the Lost in the Fifties weekend. This was a perfect place to stay because we could walk to town and enjoy all the events. The “Sandpoint Cottage” was a great place to stay and the owners were great at communicating and responding to any questions that we had. We highly recommend this gem!”

“I was impressed with the property owner? / manager? I hadn't heard about some of the check-in details and was a little nervous. I sent an email and had a response in less than 10 minutes with all of the details I needed as well as contact information for when I was on the road. It is a nice place and I really appreciated the quick response.”

“This was a perfect little place for two, walking distance from Schweitzer village and the lifts, a a much better price than you can get from the Schweitzer owned lodging. We had originally booked three nights at Schweitzer owned lodging for January, but when our beloved dog was suddenly diagnosed with lymphoma, we had to reschedule our trip. Schweitzer management refused to refund or let us reschedule our dates. I still wanted to ski Schweitzer, so when we found this place instead and booked for……

“The house is very spacious, there was plenty of space for our large family (9 adults, 9 kids). We loved everything about the house! The ski in -ski out access was magical, but a little tricky. Since we had 5 small children 6 and under, parents needed to drive them to the lift. The older children (ages 7, 8, 11, 12) and adults were able to do the ski access to lifts. The host, Lou, was very helpful and accommodating. We had a fabulous stay!”
