“We loved our stay. Cabin was cozy and clean. The staff at the Historic Cabins at Columbine were wonderful, friendly and very helpful! Enjoyed the history of the cabins and made the hike up Hahn’s Peak. I hope to return!!!”

The location is amazing and we felt like we were in a real life snow globe the whole time. Definitely would recommend staying here and we’ll likely be back!!”

“I've loved the sweet little cabin I stayed in with my dog. Loved having a fully equipped kitchen after motel stays elsewhere. The staff and owners were welcoming and accommodating when I needed to prolong my stay. The place is imbued with the history of a late 1800's mining town while being close to hikes out of the Steamboat Lake Visitor Center. Awesome landscapes and mountains. Highly recommend.”

“We had a great time. Cabin was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Minimal electricity as we had only a plug in lamp and hanging light. It was a perfect setting for a private anniversary trip.”

“This was a great overflow option as the place we normally stay (The Outpost) for our annual snowmobile trip was booked. The rustic cabins were just that and worked great for what we needed. The shower house & restrooms were very clean and nice. Great experience and we'll be back again!”

“Really enjoyed the place - nice, clean - very cool look in the winter. Heat works well. Has a nice lot for snowmobile trailer parking. Can access all the mountains from the trail directly across the street. Honestly the place is great. ***I think in today's day and age it should be known there is no cell service and/or wifi. No TV. You are completely disconnected. This would be awesome with my wife on a trip but when your with your buddies away from your family sometime's isn't the most ideal.”
