The room was cozy and well kept. It was very clean and I felt safe as a solo traveler. The code didn't work right away when I got there but the staff responded right away and I was able to get in. I felt right at home and would stay here again.

Not much to do in town. Had a fairly decent restaurant nearby. An hour away from the Rockies but doable. Very quiet so that was nice. Housekeeper was very helpful and courteous. We would stay again.

Initially my husband was put off with the size but it turned out to be a great home base to see 13 moose, 24 wild horses, 2 big horn rams, and many other wild life. April was very helpful.

For a small mountain town its was a good little motel. They need to update their pictures because it shows a kitchenette in the pics but there is only a microwave and mini fridge. Other than that, the inside was very clean and looks to have been recently renovated. The exterior of the building still needs work, but the room itself was very nice.

Externally the motel appeared less than ideal, but upon entering the room we were impressed! Room was clean, comfortable and lovely. They had a walk in shower with a shower wand, perfect for us.

The room was clean and comfortable. No staff onsite for check in was unexpected but to a problem. The indoor lighting is entirely from bright overhead lights, I found this a bit hard on my eyes but otherwise no complaints.

We really appreciated what has been done with this old motel. The room was spacious and clean (and a lovely tea selection!); the property is small, but very cute (loved the small pond and fire pit area). It's very convenient to walk to get food. The only suggestion is for travelers to bring sleep masks. The lights outside the room can be a but much at night.
