「It was my first experience in a hostel and it was awesome, place was very affordable, clean and surprisingly quiet at night thus had no issues sleeping. I’d definitely go back to this location and want to check out their other locations in Central America. 」

「Great place to kick back after exploring. Simple, affordable, laid-back. I would advise bringing some disinfectant wipes for the shared bathroom, as some people have not been taught how to clean themselves, but that's just one of those things with shared facilities. I would not hesitate to book here again! 」

They even provided us with food one night! The beds are a little tight because they are a three bunk instead of two so don’t sit up too fast when you wake or you will hit your head;)」

「I was pleasantly surprised staying in the crates. I have never stayed in a hostel but knew those participar rooms would be a similar experience as staying in one. I think I read on their page they described it as the “anti hostel.” The staff was nice and the simple breakfast included was a nice bonus. It is a popular bar at night so there will be some noise if you go to bed early but the crate rooms I stayed in wasn’t over the bar and they clear out the courtyard after a certain time so it’s not...

「The property overall was not bad. You get what you pay for. It’s about 15 mins away from the South Beach area. Getting transportation from the area was easy. Communication is mostly through email which isn’t a big problem unless you need a response fairly quick. They said housekeeping was around 9am-5pm but when I asked for the room to be cleaned or for clean towels I was told they are only there for emergencies. There is also a nice pool area but the pool was closed so don’t get excited about...

「Pros: 4 minute walk to the beach, easy access to public transportation, bus stop is literally outside. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, downstairs restaurant is very convenient. Cons: Room has an unpleasant damp smell, bathroom is very small, the sink was too small to use without making a mess. The building could really use some upgrades. But overall a nice stay.」
