“Don't get me wrong, the couple was very nice. Let us check out their animals, go to the spring on their property, gave us a dozen eggs... However, I was under the impression there were beds, not air mattresses in the tent, air mattresses do not hold heat and are a poor choice when it gets cold becausethey also deflate with cold weather. “Not quite what I expected, but the property was off the beaten path, quiet, and clean! The owners were very nice and accommodating. The "Guesthouse" is exactly that. Small, not much bigger than a nice motorhome, and just enough room for a couple with or without a small child. It suited me just fine as I was traveling solo and didn't need much room. “We booked this property for our annual family vacation and really enjoyed our stay! We always enjoy the log cabin feel and the decor was neat…lots to look at. “Spring Lake was the perfect weekend getaway for my husband and I! The cabin was very clean, up to date, with gorgeous views of the lake.
