“We couldn’t say enough about this property. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. The inside was homey and the little extras was wonderful. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this property again, and will tell our family when visiting relatives to book this. We will be back. Only suggestion would be to repair the entrance way on the outside.”

“My friend and I stayed for a week to go fishing Lake Champlain for the first time and our stay at The Captains Quarters was everything we had expected, there was an open floor plan with 1 bed and a futon but the futon was very comfortable. We would rent this place again because of the location on the water, a boat slip that we could rent out and the hospitality of the host, Chuck, was exceptional.”

“The property was a beautiful stay, my family and I quite enjoyed it. The lack of Tv on the property allowed my family to spend more time talking together and going outside. Because of the equipment available, i was able to go paddle boating for the very first time. We also enjoyed making all lot of great food on the outdoor firepit. Overall, would recommend this property to anyone looking for a family getaway.”

“The property was great, everything was very clean and well taken care of. It had everything we needed. The couch in the living room can pull out, we didn’t use it though. The bed in the bedroom was a firmer mattress, but still had good comfort. It’s not a far walk to St Albans bay, near the park. Quiet street and convenient for what we needed. I would definitely stay here again.”

“We loved this property. We were a group of six and used all the bedrooms. We also had a larger group (10) for a family dinner. The house accommodated us just fine. Great kitchen and living spaces. Phenomenal view and location. Truly peaceful, beautiful and a great space. Jeff was a great host and came up to the house when we needed help. Our visit there could not have gone better.”

“This cottage was exactly as depicted on the website. It was clean, cozy and only one property away from Lake Champlain. You could tell that the home had been lovingly cared for by its owners. Owners were friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure staying here.”
