“Wij waren met twee gezinnen, 11 personen in het totaal. Er waren genoeg slaapkamers en het zwembad is groot genoeg. Jammer genoeg zijn de keukens en badkamers zeer oud en zijn er veel dingen die niet werken, zoals de waterkoker, de oven beneden en de buitendouche. Alles is aan vernieuwing toe. De eigenaar is wel behulpzaam en is perfect bereikbaar.”

“El hotel es sencillo con un hermoso jardín, las habitaciones pequeñas, no hay nadie que te reciba después de las nueve de la noche, ni nadie que te pueda ayudar después de esa hora, el hotel se queda solo y te dan una clave ara entrar. Si no consigues un lugar cerca de la puerta tienes que dejar el coche en un estacionamiento un poco lejano y pagarlo.”

“Wir waren zwei wochenlang mit unseren zwei Kindern und unserem Hund in dem Landhaus. Wir haben jeden Augenblick genossen. Das Haus war sehr schön eingerichtet und gepflegt. Das Anwesen ist ca. 50 km von Rom entfernt. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Lage. Mann ist in der Natur und ist aber doch 50 km von Rom entfernt. Zwei Wochen nach dem Urlaub sind wir immer noch von dem Landhaus begeistert. Selbst die Kinder hatten in der Natur ihren Spass.”

“We stayed in August for 2 weeks in the villa of Stefano and had a great time. The house was fine, everything we needed was present in the villa, as long as we kept the shutters closed during the day to keep the heat out, we kept the house cool for the nights. We had access to 2 swimmingpools (!!), where do you find that? Stefano was a great host and always very helpful with advise and information about local sights to visit. We also enjoyed the local yearly festivities which are held in August.……

“We arrived in Macerino after our drive from Rome to be greeted by our hosts Maria and Franco in the square of the village. They warmly welcomed us and showed us to the property which was around the corner from the square. We immediately recognised it from the photos. They escorted us inside to reveal a welcoming bottle of Montefalco wine and a delicious looking blueberry tart. The property was everything we could ask for. “We were a 3 generation family of 10. Overall very good, a lovely pool and a games room with table tennis and table football. Rome was reached by train from Terni. ( but check ticket prices as it varies enormously depending on the train) Lake Bolsena, Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Bagnoregio and Cascade del Marmore are all easily reached by car. Village pizzeria is excellent. We drove from Rome Fiumicino Airport, very easy using Autostrada. My family all enjoyed the soft river rafting near Marmore.……

“We knew that this place would be special, but it exceeded our expectations in every which way. The views, the people, the garden and pool, the peaceful morning sounds...there is something truly special about this place. Tiziana and Giorgio were extremely helpful during our stay and answered all of our questions/requests promptly. Also, we kept running into the owners of the Borgo (even at restaurants outside of town) and they couldn't have been more kind or gracious. We hope to come back soon,……

“We were looking for an area off the normal tourist track and definitely found it here in Moricone. Beautiful country side, my only negative was there was a dreadful smell coming from the laundry, some form of sewer problem says the plumber in our group other than that the beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked if small but a lovely quiet location”

“i spent 3 weeks in the property, and all i can say is how fantastic it was, everything from the location, to the way that i was welcomed by Alberto and Karen. They both were so helpful and informative of the area,and really made my stay a pleasure. Although they live on site it really did not impact my privacy as they were both so cautious not to impact the holiday. However when invited for an aperitivo we spent some hours discussing multiple topics and they both were an absolute joy to have……

“The pool area is exactly like the picture. A real oasis. This house is for those who like originality. Its layout is unusual and the deco is superbly personal. So many touches that made us smile and feel happy. The house was delightful - very comfy, two big lovely double bedrooms (one very private), a small twin room very private, lots of little areas to sit down and read a book. The downstairs kitchen is a bit dark and damp so not a space we used. You have to be willing to walk down to the pool……

Par ailleurs Todi est la ville d'où l'on peut rayonner dans toute l'Ombrie. Nous avons passé des vacances exceptionnel les et nous avons hâte d'y revenir.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Etemo d’elle Fate. The kids loved the pool, the cats and the food. The view is amazing overlooking the valley with olive trees all around. We had a great large 2 bedroom apartment ideal for a family of 4.”

“From start to finish, everything was perfect. The owner was quick to respond to any questions prior to arrival. The drive up to the hilltop village is breathtaking! Be certain to follow the owners directions for an easy drive from Aquasparta. We were greeted upon arrival by the owners who were incredibly warm and friendly. They even presented us with a beautiful pastry, olive oil from his trees and a bottle of premium of Umbrian wine. The house (tower) dates from 1000AD and even has a medieval……
