“If you’re walking it’s impossible to cross the highway to get to where the restaurants mainly are; Pizza Hut, Starbucks, etc as you CANNOT cross anywhere. There is a Sheets fuel station that has some conveniences.”

“We only stayed for 1 night and were literally only there to sleep, but the beds, bathroom & everything was clean! The area of the hotel is nothing special, this is where you would stop mid drive just to sleep such as we did cause it's basically right off the Turnpike. This is no vacation hotel haha. Other than it could use some updates (which aren't needed) but it was overall a good place to stay. For the time we were there they left us alone and were very nice. If I had to take the same route,……

“Works perfect for a late night stop for sleep before back on the road first thing in the morning. No frills, not much updates or inspiration. Does the job, though and hassle free. Reception let me check in late (12:30am) and had no issues. I was gone by 6:30am. Would stay again if I needed to.”

“Rustic cabin with modern upgrades. Great location near Shawnee Park on Rt. 31. I usually do a trip to the area with family every year to enjoy the great outdoors and i’ll definitely be booking this place again!”

“Great little place. Very homey. Snow storm blew in and dumped 6 inches of snow overnight. There was a shovel and salt accessible for us that morning to get to the vehicle. Great stay.”

“Facility was clean. It is an older building but fairly well maintained. The owner lives only a few feet away. Very quiet neighborhood, which was want we wanted. Having the creek and the fire pit nearby was very nice. However, the junked cars on the neighbor's property do not add to the ambiance.”

“This cabin and property were perfect for our weekend get-away. Everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen and bath were well stocked as well. The location is off the road enough for peacefully sitting around the fire ring. We also walked along a few pathways near the river. We highly recommend staying here!”
