「We've had a lovely stay at Novotel Cardiff. The staff in reception and at the restaurant were helpful and polite. The buffet breakfast was very good. The swimming pool and spa facilities were great. The room for 4 is not very big but had enough space and was comfortable. The hotel is not in the prettiest area, however is conveniently located 15 minutes walk from the city centre and 5 minute taxi ride from the bay. Also walking distance from the train station. Definitely recommend. 」

「clean，but old. The carpet seems new. Bathroom had been renovated. When I went into the roo，you could smell a old hotel odour. Price was not that expensive，overall I rated 65 out of 100.」

「I didn’t stay here , we arrived for concert at Hampden park , only to find out hotel was closed to public , on a government contract . Had to return home on train with suitcase and missed concert and mini break in Glasgow . 」

「The pool has literal lumps of black dirt on the tiles, it hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. The jacuzzi is the same temperature as the pool and also dirty. No shower facilities after the “swim” Run down hotel, breakfast staff were just there, never said good morning, no interaction from any staff actually. Won’t be staying there again. 」

「This hotel is exactly as it is online..beautiful. The check in staff could not be more helpful. But If including breakfast, be prepared to wait and not necessarily welcomed or helped!! Gym facilities great and very clean. Would go back in a heartbeat. 」

「I don't like the cleaner to clean my room at around 430 pm on 2 days. Hotel replied that they have more than 1000 rooms and will be arranged to clean some room on pm sessions. But I am satisfied with their reply as 4 star hotels should arrange staff to clean the rooms with efficient way.」
