“What a little gem of a find. Absolutely beautiful cottage right in the woods and yet a 5 min drive to town. Jack is a wealth of knowledge and there is bird and possum feeding at certain times. There are beautiful parrots, a goose, chickens and a free range rabbit. Kids would love this place and there is a play area for the littlies. We had a 2 bedroom room with a spa and the fireplace was a bonus. Great size and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was very strong . There……

“We enjoyed everything about Burra. The town is beautiful with lovely trees and gardens, and the Paxton Square Gardens was very comfortable. There is lots of history and we went for a drive to see the old mines.”

The house was amply spaced for the 7 of us, it had everything we needed including oil, coffee, a lovely selection of tea. It’s the perfect comfortable base to the hunter region. I cannot recommend this place enough. To top it off, communication with Jodie the host was quick, easy and hassle free- overall a great experience and we’ll cherish forever.”

“The area is beautiful and the National park is well signed. The cabin was chilly but there was an electric radiator. No food available from the restaurant but food could be ordered by 4pm to be collected at 6pm. The meals were very good.”

The property is very cute, clean, and had everything our family needed during our stay. The host, Sam, was very responsive and accommodating, meeting us there prior to check in so we could store our luggage. She also had many great local restaurant recommendations for us. Would definitely stay here again.”
