"This is the best choice for the surrounding area at this price level and fine for one night. Glad that we got a room on the opposite side of the building from the freeway. Room was quiet, bed decent, shower recently remodeled and was water hot. The Indian restaurant nearby was pretty good."

"This is my go-to spot to recharge and get a nice shower and a restful night's sleep while on the way from the southern part of California to the Northern part. It's right in the middle and this spot is consistently clean, staff is wonderful and accommodating, and the place is quiet and easy to relax at. "Came to Bakersfield for a family party. The house was awesome!!! We will rent again. We stay in houses as we like to gather and cook. The kitchen was minimally stocked. One small fry pan and small stock pot was a challenge but we made it work. I now build a “vacation tub” that I put what I need. We ran to store for showering soap and kurig pods but overall great stay!"

"We had a great stay. The neighborhood was quiet and the home was spacious. Lovely backyard as well. It definitely met our needs. We were in town for a sporting event so it was nice to have a quiet place to wind down. The only issue we noticed was that the flooring was a bit squeaky. No one can sneak up on you so that is a good thing I suppose. If we return we would stay again."
