“We love El Caribe! This is our second time staying here. We did the Ormond beach suite this time around, but last time we stayed in the room right beside it. Huge windows, huge balconies, continental breakfast. We also had a massive walk in shower, the unit itself was huge compared to other similarly priced resorts in the area. House keeping came everyday. There’s a Winn Dixie right across the street and a little coney restaurant as well. Pool is nice and easy access to the beach. We will……

“The property was nice. Nice sized pool, oversized checkers, chess, & Connect 4. That was a big hit with our daughter. Direct beach access. We were told that we could see the ocean only if we walked out on the balcony (it was south facing), but we could see the ocean from inside our room. The elevators here the slowest known to man & parking wasn’t the easiest. I was told that the room would cost exactly one particular price, there would be no added charges, but there were. “We stayed the night because we have stayed here before, two summers ago. The bed is really comfortable, has an oceanfront room, it’s close to ocean deck where we ate and enjoyed a live band and no driving zone at the beach. Our kleenex box was not clean which made us wonder if the room wasn’t too on this visit. It had a bunch of toliet paper and kleenexes stuffed in it. gross! Our ac wouldn’t go any higher than 72 degrees and tv was very difficult to work. ”

“The staff were very personable and always willing to help. Hotel was very clean as was the room. Enjoyed the large balcony. The only thing I noticed was during memorial day weekend, several children came up from the beach and swam in the pool before returning to the beach. None of them had wristbands. Also, there was a lot of sand in the pool. However, the staff did clean the pool on Wednesday. I liked having the wristband to open the doors as well as get into the hotel after 8 PM at……
