"I had read the reviews to stated it was an older hotel with squeaky floors. Well, they were correct. The hotel was built circa 1926, so older and quaint. However, I was not prepared for how squeaky the floors were. They were really bad. If there was a room above me, not sure how I would have handled it. "The apartment is clean, modern, and has a nice, fully equipped kitchen. It is upstairs, so that may be limiting for some but offers a pretty nice view of the Columbia River from there (there are powerlines in the way, but I could still watch a beautiful sunset over the river). When we stayed the cost was comparable to the yurts available at the marina...but I'm confident that the apartment was much more comfortable. "

"We didnt know much about Cathlemet/ Columbia River area, but staying in this lovely cabin afforded us a close up of the tides and bird life of the islands in the river. The cabin has everything you might need in the kitchen ( we are picky) with thoughtful extras throughout including very comfortable beds. Definitely worth coming again."

"Very clean, well maintained home in a quiet peaceful country setting. It was the perfect home base for exploring Washington and Oregon. Every thing in the house worked as it should. The entire house was well stocked with all the essentials. Furniture and beds were both very comfortable. The host made check-in very easy and checked on us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property."

"A group of 8 girls gathered together to celebrate a friend's bachelorette. We LOVED this home. I feel like each of us said that multiple times. The house was so clean and a perfect size for 6-8 guests. It had everything you could imagine needing.
