“Fantastic location and beautiful views. The lodge was lovely and everything works as it should. Only thing I would mention which isn’t a massive problem. The hot tub and table is located under a tree which was constantly dropping cotton like fibres into the hot tub and onto the table full of drinks.”

“We had a great holiday. We stay for 4 nights ( 4 adults and 2 children (10 and 6)). The lodge is very cosy and it is very spacious. My son was very happy watching the ducks swimming in the pond. Children watched rabbits running around outside the lodge. Our grandparents flew over from Lithuania and they were left awestruck. Highly recommended Many Thanks😊”

“It was a good cabin and very clean. Everything was there that we needed. Pub on site was a little expensive not really ideal for a family budget but the pub up the road was a little better. Kids were disappointed that the pony trekking had closed and is still advertising on the website. Other than that we overall had a well earned brealk”

“We had an amazing stay! Everything was perfect.. beautiful area and the Shepard's hut had everything we needed, sadly there was another shepherds hut next to us and we was under the impression we would be totally alone BUT overall gorgeous place to stay!”

“We stayed for two nights in the pig pod. It was extremely comfortable and cosy. Children loved the built in bunk beds. Great location with wonderful views and quick access to the heart of the lakes. Enjoyed toasting marshmallows on the fire pit. Wonderful stay and will visit again.”

“Lovely caravan which was very clean and dog friendly. Well stocked including bowls for doggy. Communication from the owners was excellent. They even sent us a list of dog friendly walks some with dog friendly pubs. Lovely dog friendly pub Mason Arms just across the road from the camp where they let doggy sit under the table whilst owners had a meal. It was a small caravan site which was quiet and well laid out just what we needed.”
