"We have stayed at many four star and five star hotels throughout the world. The Loden Hotel should be reclassified from a four-star hotel to a five star hotel. We were especially impressed with the international staff and how accommodating they were. To the point, when I mentioned that our bed mattress has seen better days we had a new mattress in our room within two hours. We highly recommend the Loden hotel when visiting Vancouver."

"The stay at the hotel Blu had everything in walking distance from great restaurants to shopping and parks. The staff was friendly and always finding a way to help. The conditions of the hotel were clean and well looked after including the gym, the pool and very clean hot tub that is impressive. Highly recommended . "

"Great location, very central to all amenities. However, we have never had such a noisy room. All windows were closed but the outside buzzing from pedestrian crossing was nearly constant, plus there was a periodic buzzing that went on ALL night. Hard to get a good sleep without earplugs."

Our only issue was that the A.C made loud, clunks when it cycled on and off, and the toilet ran continuously if we didn’t jiggle the handle. We decided to live with it, but hotels often overlook maintenance. Otherwise great place. "
