"Mdluli is a lovely property right inside the Numbi gate of the park. The tents are large and comfortable, with new furnishings and well designed. The facilities are lovely--a nice bar/restaurant, great pool, and access to game drives are great. The staff is pleasant and hard working, always with smiles and kind words. Food was high quality and lots of variety. We only stayed 1 night but would definitely consider Mdluli for a longer stay at the park. Highly recommend. "

Unfortunately we had a bad experience with one of the tours we booked, the places visited were great but the transport provided (given advertised as a luxury tour) was unacceptable, a rickety dirty taxi! "The accommodations were very nice. Unfortunately there were daily electricity outages. The resort made no effort for guests to be cared for during outages, which happened three times a day for a minimum of 2 hours at a time. Everything is electric. Foreigners are not accustomed to these problems and are stranded in the dark with no resources. The resort needs to find a way to care for their guests during outages."

Leopard and Rhino can be fairly elusive and you can very likely leave not experiencing the big 5 as was the case in my instance. The accommodation is very clean however not as modern as expected.
