"Will be a good place when it will be finished. We were living in a construction site where noise was starting at 8am (or earlier) to finish at 8pm. The apartment was nice but not fully functional since AC was not connected. The apartment we had was made for 2 people as the sofa cannot be seriously considered as an extra bed (even for kids). The owner is always there to help."

"Beautiful property we had a wonderful stay. We were meet by property manager who went through everything with us. We were 7 adults and 4 children. It was a perfect home for the bigger kids had a pool table and pool. Close to all, easy to access freeway. Garage parking for 3 cars was perfect. I would just make sure to request more bath towels and toilet paper before arrival."

"The location is great, on walking distance from the harbour and main restaurant/shopping streets in Funchal. The house and its garden are absolutely wonderful, very calm, providing both sun and shade. The garden is very well-kept and we all enjoyed the terrace and pool area. "We had a good week. The apartment has everything you need for a self catering stay, sunny patio. comfortable lounge, well equipped kitchen. There is a little convenience store next door and a full range of shops about 1 km up the hill. The nearest resturants seemed to be about 3 km away so not walking distance and the traffic was a little busy but then it is everywhere in Funchal. The owner was very friendly did everything he could to make us welcome even though he did not have much English."

"If you’re looking for a modern feel Villa, with a stunning view of Funchal and the coast, and a very nice pool, you just fund it! We were 4 friends who travelled to Madeira for the first time to film and photograph the island and we couldn’t have found a more perfect place to stay. The drive up there is a little tricky, as the road is very steep and with sharp turns, but very worth it. Would recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"The house is large with plenty of room and more than sufficient bathrooms. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and equipment. The pool area is a good size and enclosed. Great views from most rooms over Funchal. There are four floors with a lot of stairs to negotiate. Not a problem for us but may be an issue for some. The information booklet could perhaps be more detailed. Not too far from Funchal Old Town (but a steep climb back!). Overall we had a vey pleasant stay and would recommend."

"We felt pampered in this huge old (1826) villa. The rooms are large with soaring ceilings. Many of the furnishings are gorgeous antiques; every bedroom has a large bathroom.The grand piano was played every day with amazing sound acoustics. "Very comfortable home with fantastic view and comfortable beds. Lots of room, large kitchen, great location. Make sure to learn about how to use the showers as the hot water will decrease if more than one person is trying to shower at a time ( the water will get cold). Very easy location to walk to many attractions, and catch taxis at the base of the hill. Unbelievably beautiful up on the porch, a great place for wine."

The house is fantastic, with incredible ocean views to enjoy your meals or just sit with your morning coffee or a glass of wine. "This was a fabulous villa and we enjoyed our stay immensely! We were not far from bus stops, so it was easy to get to Funchal, and we were within walking distance of a Continente. The space was lovely and inviting. There were only minor inconveniences - there was no toilet paper rolls or hand soap anywhere, and several of the 5 bathrooms ran out the first day. We picked some up at the supermercado. Nice views from the yard also."

"The home was clean and well situated. We enjoyed the views from the upper balcony and the pool. it should be noted you cannot see the ocean or views from the pool or when sitting on the ground floor because of the wall, however when you stand up or go to the upper level you can. It is about a 10 minute convenient drive to funchal and close to the highway. Well situated to explore the island."
