"Nice property outside of Vik but close to black sand beach"

"Easy check-in with Hotel Vik. The front desk person was helpful. He provided good info about restaurants around the area. Place was great - nice and clean. Plenty of space with lots of appliances/dishes in the kitchen. I would stay here again. "

"There was free parking but we it is only 2 spots so we had to wait to get one of the spots. The shower door was broken but we were still able to take a shower. It should have said that there are no elevators since we were on the 4th floor. It was a workout to get our bags up to the 4th floor. "

"Beautiful and upscale apartment. Great bedroom and master bathroom, great kitchen and great living room. The only weird thing is that if you have a guest staying in the living room on the pullout couch, the only bathroom is in the bedroom. But other than that, this is a great apartment. Great location and they even offer parking in the garage (for a fee). "

"Great location for an apartment in the middle of everything. The place was clean but the furnishings appear to be a tad old or just heavily used. Various lights were broken or missing. It just looked a little run down in the rooms but overall clean and a decent place to stay. The location is really what made it amazing. "

"This was a perfect location to enjoy Reykjavik by foot. Literally on top of a grocery store, and a short walk from an endless number of restaurants and bars. We got to enjoy three nights here as we reset after doing the Ring Road, and the extra room was appreciated as we repacked for the flight home. Parking was easy in the neighborhood, and if you go a block further away, you can save a ton by parking in zone 2. "

"The customer service is outstanding and Our room was well equipped and very comfortable! We were traveling with an infant so had some special circumstances and I don’t think I ever waited more than 5 minutes for an email response! "

"The property is as described, bigger than we expected and came equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the friendly and helpful host who showed us in. One disappointment was the mention of an on-site restaurant in the communication message where we could dine and therefore we opted not to bring groceries for doing our own cooking, but was told when arrived everything was closed, leaving us with no food on New Year's Day. "This was a lovely place to stay! It is so close to so many of the sights of Reykjavik. It has a fridge, stove, oven, large closet and private bathroom. All of these made my stay cost effective and lovely! The room was clean and well organized when I arrived. You also have access to on site laundry, which after a rainy day exploring the peninsula, I was happy to have! "
