"The public areas are gorgeous. Downstairs there is a lounge with generous snack options as well as onsen.I'm in a wheelchair and my needs are unique. The room is barely wheelchair accessible and the entry to the bathroom is not. That was not a problem for me but I warn other wheelchair users they would not be happy here. I needed a roll in shower which it had. Breakfasts were excellent and their French toast is the best I've ever had with incredibly custardy interior. Dinner on the other hand presented few options with beef or chicken only prepared sous vide and by preorder. There are not many dining options in the area."

"I am very happy about my stay at Hotel Vischio Kyoto by GRANVIA, modern & comfort hotel with good facilities. All the staff are very courteous, especially the cleaning crew. I am extremely thankful to the lady staff who checked us in, she honored our request of high-floor and room far away from elevator banks, and went beyond and above her duty to make restaurant reservations for us. Did not realize this was a special favor. We stayed for 7 nights, she was the only one who happily assisted us, two other front desk personnel informed us the hotel does not have concierge facility!!! How hard is it to make a phone call. It's a pity I forgot to note name of kind lady who helped us."

"Convenient location, very clean and staff are nice and friendly. Only one thing is takes forever to do the laundry so I think the hotel needs to have more of laundry machines for guests."
