Independent Lewes hotels

"My friend and I recently stayed at the Inn at Lewis, an Economical motel on the main strip and centrally located to Rehobeth and Lewes. I booked our stay via Expedia. The rates were comparable to similar hotels in the area. The Inn at Lewes is a row of eight bungalow type rooms, perpendicular to route one. I assume each room is identical, offering one bedroom, one bathroom, a small kitchenette, a pullout sofa/sitting area and TV. It is clean, a bit dated, but the room got more comfortable with...

"Despite tropical storm Ophelia, we had a great stay! We loved being in the middle of Lewes and close to so many fun things! The house was clean, the owners were quick to respond and troubleshoot any issues, and the location was perfect! We visited many of our favorite breweries— all less than a 20 minute ride. "Great location to sample the different cafes and restaurants of Lewes, or simply walk the streets and admire the beautiful architecture. Also worked well for two days of telework, with a great office alcove with desk and the dining table in a separate room for a second teleworker. So much space in the apartment and close to everything. Easy and free street parking in April (I understand that changes to metered street parking in the summer)."
