"Room was clean and good looking but was a lot smaller then expected, also there was no clear indication that the bathroom was a shared one when I booked the hotel."

"The breakfast was great! Everything was perfect... I didn't want to come home... I definitely recharged my batteries! The interior design and history were captivating. I was very pleasantly surprised. Great hot shower. Great TV. Comfy bed. Clean, clean, clean! Courteous staff and overall level of excellence and attention to detail that is rare these days... THANK YOU!!! The stairs were really steep! I had to go backwards when I was leaving! I am getting on in years and have arthritis. Next time...

"The hotel location is amazing and the staff are so friendly. Prices for food etc., are a little high, but considering where it is and the hotel "star" rating - anticipated. Surprisingly they do not offer a corkage service if you bring your own wine, so don't do this as they will take the bottle and return it to you when you leave."

"This is the perfect place for couples or singles to stay while visiting Bar Harbor. The historic house has been lovingly taken care of and beautifully decorated. The host was friendly and helpful with general information about the area. We had a secluded haven in the mist of a lively and beautiful seaport town. We would love to go back some day. "

"We had an amazing stay at The Orchard House. The pictures do not do it justice. It is beautiful and special. We stayed in the Library Room. Very unique and spacious for 2 people. I am in love with the bed/mattress! The light breakfast served (coffee/tea, cereal, boiled eggs, juice, toast.etc) was perfect and a great way to start the day. The owner Bill (and his Mom Lynn owner of the vintage shop Folly) are fabulous. And the dogs, Bingo and Bay are the icing on the cake. Would definitely...

"I went by this place 5 years ago on another trip and said to myself cool, I’m staying there the next time. I was not disappointed! The breakfast’s were so unique, delicious and Anna serviced them up hot with a smile. Oh people say it’s too far from town, soooo! You just drive down to the visitor center at Hull’s Cove pay to park, it’s good for a week, and take the Island Explorer bus to downtown or other stops. I definitely will stay at Coach Stop Inn again wonderful experience!"

"We stayed at the Munroe Inn for 2 nights to watch the solar eclipse and it was phenomenal. Olga could not have been more helpful or responsive and Inn is so charming, clean, and comfortable. Safety is a concern of ours as well and the Inn is in a residential neighborhood and is well lit for evening arrivals. Highly recommend!"
