"We stay at this guest house at least yearly and it never disappoints. The host is very thoughtful and has made sure everything is available for your stay. The Keurig coffee machine even has a “shot” size that is perfect for a packet of instant oatmeal. The location is quiet with great onsite parking and is centrally located so it’s easy to get to any of the Monterey Bay area attractions. Seaside has grown and there are excellent restaurants and brewery in town."

"My partner and I stayed for one night and we had a great time. Beautiful surrounding location and a very cozy room. The hosts were great communicators for any questions I had. The only thing I wish was different about our stay is as other people noted, you need to bring lots of extra water to use for drinking/washing up because of the non-potable water in the room. Also, and I recognize this is not really the hosts' fault, but we did not realize just how remote the property was and we didn't...

"We liked everything about this classic, updated motel. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We had a standard, amply-sized room with a fireplace as a bonus, at an affordable rate. Feels like a mid-century California coastal motel, in a row of similar places down the road. It was a little bit of a walk, not terrible, to the downtown and Cannery Row locations. We walked throughout of our 3-day stay without trouble. We'd stay at the Arbor Inn again to visit lovely Monterey."

"We had a great time, we will stay again. Tina at the front desk very informed and helpful. Hotel is very close to the downtown area and very walkable. You will need to stay in communication for check-in to ensure they are available you help you. They do have a after hours lock box to be able to access your room. We did not need but it was communicated to us the morning of check-in."

"Room was clean, roomy, more than adequate for 4 people, our 2 boys shared the king bed in the front room. The smaller private room has a full closet, queen bed and cable tv on a big screen. Mini-fridge was actually cold!! All the beds were comfortable and you cannot beat the location, we walked to the boardwalk and wharf daily! Indoor heated pool and spa! Nice place, quiet and in the best location for tourists activities. We would stay again."

When we did arrive after 6 hours in the car they would let us use a restroom and it would be 3 hours until check in. The woman kept adding a day to my stay. And as I requested a downstairs room for the 5th time she put me upstairs. Another woman working said they need a downstairs room. So finally we did get the downstairs room. "Really loved the property and it was super clean and well appointed and lovely access to the beach. The host was very communicative and responsive as well. "We really enjoyed our stay here. The unit was spacious, well-appointed, and very private (thanks to its location in the last building in the development, which meant looking out only at the dunes & not other buildings). The kitchen had every pot and pan we needed, the pantry was nicely stocked, and the beds were supremely comfortable. Plus, the owners were very pro-active and communicative, both before and during our stay. All in all, a delightful visit!"
