Ocean El Faro is a very interesting resort. Most of the staff here is very unpleasant. It seems as if they are forced to work here. They constantly ran out of towels by the pool and I mean u had to wait for hours to get a towel. The entertainment is extremely mediocre. Room service brings cold food and it takes almost 2hrs to get it. The staff in the Japanese restaurant are racist. Food choices throughout the day are limited as well. The pool area only serves burgers, hot dogs & fries. No chicken or pizza. We wouldn’t stay again.

I had $250 on credit that it didn’t work, you have to spend money to be able to spend it. To do a reservation for the restaurants it always was a problem. The staff if you don’t tip them they will treat you like trash. Beside that it was a nice stay.

The Hotel was nice, food was ok, pool ok. If you want to eat on the restaurants you need to know that the app doesn’t work they will tell you that the restaurant are already full and that you will have to check next day. I hade a $250 credit that it didn’t work because you have to spend more money to be able to spend the $250 on credit. Some staff will help you some will not.

The property itself is beautiful, however, the room had a terrible strong smell, the floor was dirty, plus the pillows/pillowcases & bedsheets were moldy, the towels were stained. The food was not warm. I really wanted to love this experience. The excursions were the best part. 3/5..
