I have enjoyed traveling all my life, from child to an adult. Unfortunately, this hotel resort in Punta Cana, DR, was the worst I have ever experienced. While check-in went smoothly and the hotel initially appeared clean, major issues soon arose.
Upon arrival, I encountered several problems, which I reported to the front desk, but they did nothing to address them. The staff acted as if I was bothering them, and their responses were unhelpful.
Day1
There were no wash towels throughout the hotel. When I inquired, the front desk said the hotel had stopped buying them.
Just before bed, I found a bug in the closet, killed it, and took a picture. The next morning, I woke up to water all over my floor because the air conditioner was leaking, with water running down the walls. I laid down towels to avoid slipping. Despite calling the front desk three times and going there in person, the maintenance person didn’t show up until 24 hours later. After fixing the problem, they didn’t pick up the dirty, wet towels off the floor.
Day2 I woke up to find the water was off.
I noticed two more bugs in my room & found bug bite marks on my legs. I filed another complaint, but still received no help.
My door kept jamming every time I left my room. The lock wouldn’t engage properly, so I had to close the door multiple times before it would lock.
Last Day I put on my clothes and socks, only to end up with more bug bites. was a complete disappointment, & the staff’s lack of responsiveness made…
