"Hotels in Shenzhen are not really rated at the same level, in terms of stars, as those in many other metropolitan areas. 5-star ratings here seem to be more like 4-star elsewhere. This Ritz had great service but the room itself is not that well maintained. My biggest gripe is the ventilation in my room (which was upgraded for free to the executive level) was poor.
