"Clean and cmfortable rooms, bathroom and showers close by. Mats were thick enough to be comfortable, while still giving an authentic Japanese experience. Not much in the immediate area, but great park and restaurants were a 15 to 30 minute walk. Desk person seemed a bit brisk, but not rude."

"The springs were amazing and very warm! The staff while serving the meals was top-notch! If you have the opportunity I'd suggest staying for more than 1 day and doing some hiking/exploring along the river. Beautiful scenery! "

"Food was excellent. It’s a traditional ryokan. Onsen was good . Two separate baths for male and female and they switched in the morning. The toilet in the rooms a little old. Overall still an excellent stay. "

"This place is a little far from the town but on the from Fuji city you pass a lake where you can a beautiful view of mt Fuji. The hotel is excellent with activities provided. Service is great and onsen really very nice. Two separate baths for male and female. They switched around in the morning. Meals are buffet style. They provided a good spread."
