"Our group loved our stay at the Farmhouse! The property and scenery are so picturesque, and we loved spending time together around the large table in the kitchen. Brian (host) had great recommendations for the area, especially a bus to take us around to the local wineries for an afternoon. We had a blast utilizing all the paddle boards and kayaks provided at the pond, and after fun-filled days the beds were comfortable and clean! We would definitely stay again."

"We came down for my birthday. The home is absolutely amazing! We enjoyed a fire by the pond as well as hot tub relaxation. "Our host Tina and her husband Gary sacrificed quite a lot to make this trip happen for me and my family. Long story short, it was perfect. The weather was perfect and we witnessed the most perfect total eclipse IN THE LINE OF TOTALITY!! We sat in Tina and Gary’s back pasture near a pond. It’s crazy, the day before it rained, then eclipse day woke up sunny and stayed that way till later that night. Since after the eclipse it’s been April showers bring May flowers since!! "It was an absolute honor to stay in a family farmhouse with a long history and rich tradition. It was a blast from the past. It has a beautiful view across the valley in the back yard and pet a cow while you’re back there. If you’re in town for a a week or weekend on Lake Shelbyville this is a great place to stay. Less than 15 minutes to the lake and even less to town. Plenty of room to park 5 boats. Don’t forget to bring your work clothes because there’s always work to be done on the farm!! Oh,...

"The listing led us to believe that this was a secluded cabin, when it was really next to their other available cabin. There wasn't anything noted on the rental info that identified between the two cabins. We ended up walking around to the doors of the wrong cabin. There were very few towels available considering ones necessary for the hot tub. Other than that, and the eclectic dish and cup selection, it was quite peaceful and it did feel very private even with people in the neighboring cabin....

"The cabin was adorable. The grounds around the pond and the cabin were all neatly mowed. Pond gave us extra excitement for our short trip as we fished. Really enjoyed our stay in this great little cabin. It didn’t bother us as we read all the amenities, but there is no stove. Just know this. There is a microwave though. Also the DIRECTV has about every station you can possibly think of to watch.Including Pay stations. This is a 9 out of 10. Super relaxing!"
