I had a local drive me to the address and the place we ended up was not correct. "We read other reviews about getting to the B&B from public transportation and then walking as well as bringing food for dinner which we found to be extremely helpful. The property is quaint and beautiful with amazing views of the mountains. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. Our room was the “Lemongrass” room and it was fantastic. Very clean and comfortable. The B&B provided delicious breakfast with tea/ coffee for the mornings. The location is also very close to a sunrise viewing point....

"Excellent overnight stay. Neat Japanese-style room, good WiFi, great little bathtub and shower. The Japanese breakfast included in room rate was superb. The location on the edge of Jioufen might be a problem if you find yourself carrying luggage up the steps from the bus stop, otherwise it’s nice and quiet. But it was tricky to find. We didn’t anticipate any problems as we weren’t given any specific instructions. Definitely something that could be improved upon."

Do note that if you are driving, the parking lot is about 10-min walk. The staff can help you carry the luggage on motorcycle, but you have to walk. Overall, very good experience."

"The location is great! It's an easy walk to the metro and there are lots of delicious food options within walking range. The room was spacious and comfortable, the building very attractive. The carpet in our room was a bit damp and smelly. I think it would be good for them to shampoo the carpets. Also, they should rework the logistics of which elevators serve which floors at which times. There were some long waits for elevators. We did have a very nice stay and I'm sure other visitors to Taipei will enjoy their time there as well."
