While the bathroom was very modern it was let down by a hand basin chosen more for design than utility and poor placing of the tap and shower rose in an otherwise spacious shower. "This hostel was an okay experience as I only slept there but the bathrooms were dirty everyday. There are parties a few nights a week and my shared bathroom apparently was the public bathroom so anyone partying could use it. Men would use the women’s as well. Enjoyed it for the most part but the bathroom situation was frustrating. "

"This was a quintessential old Paris hotel. It was beautifully decorated & made you feel like you were part of old Paris. Wood beams. Red & gold decorations. It felt luxurious. I know some people have commented on the "run down" feel. I will say if you want modern, sleek & big, youre not getting it in a 400 year old building. It did have everything you need, you just might need to duck here & there as they have made clever use of all available space. We had a balcony & we love the old world charm. Staff was friendly. I would highly recommend this place."
