"Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast bar was plentiful and food good. Bar food was also very good. Hotel is wheelchair-friendly with entrance ramp as well as inside ramps and accessible lavatories. Property is only 6 minutes from the port by taxi. Good experience overall!"

"Highly recommend booking this place. Stayed as a family of 4 and Julia and Iain really had thought of everything. We arrived via train and so didn’t pack a lot. They had beach mats, wind breakers etc Also had a bed guard for our little one so she didn’t roll out of bed. Even the bathroom had a hair towel! "The property was impressive with the room being quite a good spec. Huge windows offered a lovely view of the lake area and the stand up fan offered relief from quite a stuffy evening. There were some quality amenities and facilities on site too. The parking was ample but even the closest areas required a sizable walk to reception and that is including the disabled parking bays. The biggest disappointment for me was the dining experience. I ordered a starter and main. The starter took a while...

"The location of the b&b was perfect for not only accessing Pleasure Beach and sandcastle, but equally the attractions near the tower due to the tram stop at end of street. Leigh & Sue were great hosts we felt very welcomed. "

"Still a great hotel but things have definitely slipped since my last few visits. Slow check in, bathroom extractor fan not working, partially blocked bath and faulty lights. All small problems but it does point to slipping standards. I’ll give it one more go, based on previous experiences but might have to find another favourite hotel for my trips to Blackpool if things remain the same. "

"Great value for your money. Stayed in the 2 bedroom studio for 4 nights. The place had everything we needed. Warm room, comfortable beds and our own shower & bathroom. I would recommend a stay here."
