"Service was excellent. Food was good. Location convenient, not far from city center, surrounding is very green & vibrant at night. All good settings for a wonderful holiday in Haikou. Cons was that room sound insulation is not good enough...sound from the neighboring room & from the lift lobby area could be heard & can be disturbing at night. Air-conditioning temperature control was not functioning well."

"The staff are excellent at this hotel and do go out of their way to help you enjoy your stay. The condition of the hotel is a little old, slow elevators, corridors and the lobby are open and have no air conditioning do by the time you go anywhere you are uncomfortably hot. The location is far from anything so maybe a shuttle could be offered to help those without a car or bus information easily accessible would also help. "This is the newest hotel in Haikou and opened during the pandemic period. Had high expectations as I last visited in 2018 and this was still building and I stay at nearby Hilton Haikou. A few issues we had which is why we gave 3-star rating: 1. The hotel’s main lobby and breakfast at all day dining area was located at 35th and 34th floor respectively but the rooms are located at lower levels… very odd planning 2. The corridor way from lift lobby to rooms are designed using dark colors… makes it feel narrow and not so welcoming as we walked to our room. 3. Was on 24th floor also and some hotel guests smoking in their rooms even though it’s a non-smoking hotel and these inconsiderate guests left they room doors open allowing cigarette smoke to flow into corridor way. 4. I saw a couple of times housekeeping team passed by and nothing was done over the course of my 3D2N stay… therefore the 4-star ratings on staff service 5. While the hotel is only 3 years old and factoring the pandemic, condition of property pales in comparison to Hilton Haikou which we went over for dinner on 1 of the night during our stay. The next time we visit Haikou, unlikely we will stay at this hotel again… I have severe allergies issue and the cigarette smell given it’s central air conditioning gave me quite a bit of issue during my stay. "
