“This hotel is a classic example of faded glory. A pleasant location which was near the Nyetimber Vineyard, which was the reason for the stay. I did send them a message asking advice on local taxi firms when I made the original booking, which was never responded to at all. The check in was interesting as the young lady stood up to recite her script of things we should and shouldn’t do in the hotel. This included the offer of cooked breakfast (continental is included). “Liked because, being a single woman there, the staff were friendly and helpful, the property was clean and the food was good, and I felt safe.”

“Clean room and helpful staff”

“This is a unique property which oozes old world charm. The village is in a pretty part of the UK and is exceptionally quiet and peaceful. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. ”

“Amazing natural environment with historical atmosphere. Will go there again in future. ”

“This is a first class boutique pub. Bedroom was lovely, quiet and comfortable. (Though there could be more shelving for toiletries).Restaurant provided an excellent range of evening meals and breakfast options to a very high standard. All staff were extremely polite”

“一次难忘的经历！很好”

“nice friendly place with a good atmosphere and a pleasant bedroom”

“Staff excellent in particular Nadine from reception. Unfortunately we stayed during a storm that caused problems in the areas around the hotel. Power cable came down near the entrance to the hotel grounds blocking the entrance. There was a separate entry via the golf club but a tree had gone down on the main road. Nadine did a great job keeping people informed on what was happening around the area and site. We have stayed there many times and the staff are always excellent.”

“we have stayed at the hotel a couple of times is always a lovely experience we love that it is so dog friendly and the rooms are quiet and comfortable.”

“Enjoyed our 3 nights stay. Breakfast was fantastic easy parking, and great facilities with comfortable rooms and good WIFI, would return in the future”
