“I spent 3 nights here at the Ranch house inn and the staff/owners were responsive to requests. The pictures are accurate and I believe it reflects a relatively recent remodelling. Internet was fast and there was a common area with Keurig type coffee/amenities. There is ample parking in the back. Since I used this as a staging ground for my weekend at the Grand Bend Motorplex, I appreciate how convenient exeter is. There was a dollarama down the street and restaurant options close by. If……

“Had a nice stay with my kids. The pool and beach was amazing. If you are not a golfer, there is not much else to do in the resort. The food/ snacks options are limited. We didn’t eat at the restaurant in resort, I found it was pricey to have to pay for two kids who are extremely picky and will only end up eating fries. So we just ordered from outside. There is a Tim Hortons+Pizza Hut not too far away. Parking was available in the resort. We went during the Victoria day long weekend and I found……

“Unique place to stay however we were in the other building not the main house. Rooms were small, heater/air conditioner runs all the time. Bed not comfortable.”

“Pros: great location, nice little bistro seating area out front. Light continental breakfast was appreciated. Cons: room is quite quirky. Bathroom is split in half - shower on one side of the suite and toilet on the other side of the suite. There were three of us in the room. The pull out couch could be opened but you could not get to the toilet from the bedroom without crawling over the couch. We made it work but was strange lol We had a couple of hiccups upon arrival. “Staff very helpful. Bathroom was tiny. Walking shower was, nice and large but you couldn't get 2 people in the bathroom without one of you standing in the shower. Fan did not work. Room was comfy but I think still under some refurbishment. No decorations on the walls but mini fridge and one side chair. Great location”

“This was our first no reception check in. One of the reason we picked this motel was because of the year around hot tub. We were disappointed to read the in room motel rules saying it could not be used when there is no attendant at the desk. No attendant/no hot tub.”

“what sank the experience was the kitchenette - dark with peeling laminate. after seeing that I didn't even want tto peel back the bedding. Just slept on top of the topping in my clothes. didn't see anything horrible or anything - just couldnt get over that kitchenette. bathroom wasn't great either.”

“The Parlour Hotel was the perfect stay for us. It's right downtown Stratford and has a parking lot, so leave your car and walk around. It's a boutique hotel with charm, very friendly front desk, and clean comfy rooms. If you are coming to Stratford highly recommend staying at The Parlour Hotel.”

“Located on a quiet street the garden lived up to the name with waterfalls and a pond. We were lucky that the cherry and apple trees were in full bloom. Breakfast was amazing with wide choice of juices, a fruit salad yogurt, granola and then a hot plate. Lots of coffee and they filled our thermos when we left.”
