"Had an excellent stay in November 2026 where I was able to see the famous Alishan "Cloud Sea". Meals at the hotel were excellent, and staying overnight in the Alishan Recreation Forest gave me lots of opportunities to explore the different trails and enjoy the cool mountain air. The hotel staff were very friendly and hospitable; special shoutout to one of the restaurant staff who was very helpful and provided useful advice about the hiking trails in the area, and allowed me to more easily find the trail for the Shuishan Giant Tree, an amazing sight. This was an unforgettable first time in Alishan, and if I visit again, will 100% stay at the Alishan Hotel.
