“Good to know and stay here when I visit Nikko. I love the hotel cuz it feels like staying at home. Staffs and guests are friendly and easy to communicate with.”

“Chambre impeccable, osen agréable, super petit déjeuner ”

“The onsen hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed, no hot water in the room, very basic Ruyokan , room smells, the onsen closed during day time, very bad and not friendly reception, full additional charge for child, not half as in other onsen hotels, laptop size TV screen.m”

“The owner is super friendly, and very thoughtful too! Prepared everything for us, and treated us like her family... which makes us don’t wanna say goodbye to her”

“Lovely property and a very relaxing environment. Rooms well appointed and the restaurant for dinner was delicious. The site had a very nice shop for practical items, as well as gifts. Location is right on the lake and near the local attractions. Room and package description could have been clearer, as well as more clarity on check-in time restrictions. Despite trying to contact the property well in advance of my stay - I only heard back from them on the day of arrival. Better communication……

“Room was very clean and cozy and exactly as pictured. Host was very friendly and communicative and had clear instructions in English. Would stay here again!”

“Cost is much lower than other choices.”
