“I will stay here again”

“Our stay started with a 15 minute wait for someone to show up to the front desk. Immediately upon dropping our luggage in the room, a panel fell off the wall exposing cords and wires. We couldn't get it back on. The shampoo and conditioner in the shower weren't working so I had to pry them off the wall to get them to work. The shampoo needed the spout jostled to get it working, and the conditioner was out. I discovered this while I was in the shower so there was no making it right. At one……

“Poor layout... no bathroom on first floor...windows left wide open in bedroom (unbeknownst to me hidden by blinds so freezing all night). Only one railing for exposed stairwell. Stains and dirt everywhere (including insect infiltration behind the microwave which itself was connected to an exposed broken plug which is a fire hazard). Poorly maintained (plaster all over bathroom; doors stained). Kitchen was dirty (I couldn't use the sponge as it was smelly and disgusting). Batteries missing in……

“The waterfront location was very nice and peaceful, however, room updates would make this venue more desirable. When booking, we were under the impression this was a part of the Moran Mansion property (which at one time it may have been, but not anymore). The mansion is now closed and owned by a new owner who is renovating. The booking site was somewhat unclear on some details, but staff were kind and helpful.”

“We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Marina Inn. It’s a cute and newly renovated hotel with a very convenient location. It’s very clean, interior is tastefully decorated and staff is amazing. The breakfast is continental but a bit more variety than expected. We also enjoyed the cookie jar with fresh chocolate chip cookies available all day as well as coffee in the kitchen/reception area. Special thanks to Samantha at the front desk for being very friendly and kind. ”

“I was on the island for a funeral, not your usual touristy needs. The staff was incredibly kind and made sure I had everything I needed.”

“It was pretty quiet even though our room was right next to the elevator. The neighborhood feels safe, nice, and clean. It’s conveniently close to grocery stores and restaurants, and not too far from the state park. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast—two of the containers were empty with nothing much to eat, and no one came to refill them. So we went out for breakfast nearby. ”
