"good location, good onsen "

"I loved my short time at Cyashitsu Ryokan. The staff were all so sweet and helpful. The rooms are set up in traditional style, so be aware the doorways and ceiling are low. It's a short walk from Senso-ji and Asakusa Station. Asakusa is an interesting area; full of covered markets and great food. The ryokan even has a big book or restaurant and entertainment recommendations. Breakfast was Japanese style and delicious. The private bath is great if you're shy like me. "The economy cabin was a good step up from a capsule arrangement; not a bad option for a short stay. I would consider staying in it again. It would be nice if the lock box beside the bed was able to be locked though."

"We had a great time staying at Kin Hotel for 4 nights for our first time ever in Tokyo. The room was small but not much different to a lot of hotel rooms in Japan, it was perfect for the 2 of us. What made this stay great for us was the location! Asakusa is such a great and quiet neighbourhood to stay in. "This was both my first time in Japan and my first time in this kind of stay. I had heard about the pod hotels of Japan and was interested in trying one. I stayed at this location for six nights and I really enjoyed it! The staff was all friendly and the place was pretty clean and relaxed. I had no issues whatsoever. Will recommend "

"It was a nice hotel, but a little strange. There is a bar on the ground floor. Outside it says the entrance for the hotel is on a side street. Going on you see a hallway there is a door on the left that went into the bar. Which is where you check in. They schedule the time for breakfast. They make it fresh for you at that time."

"I highly recommend staying here if you want to enjoy a convenient stay. The station is right around the corner, many nice food places around. The staff are responsive. It is a bit small but the beds are big and perfect for tall people. My partner is almost 1.90 cm and was shocked how well he fit in the bunk bed. Facilities were always clean despite being shared. Loved it! Thank you."
