"I booked this hotel for the Boudour 1920s Shanghai experience, in Chinatown in the heat of Bangkok. An unusual experience—yes indeed, however totally worth it. I tend to stay in hotel groups, so this boutique hotel was a risk for me that 100% paid off. The room, amenities, and staff were top-notch. The small things count—high-quality products from their spa in the bathroom, the free boat tour for guests, and finally the little charm bracelet when we checked out were what made this hotel special. I stayed for 4 nights, yet I must admit 2 would have been plenty, as I prefer not to be in the chaos of the city—to be fair though, you could not hear the city life inside the hotel, and the quests were respectful considering we were in the centre. Definitely a place for couples – I doubt children would appreciate the dim lighting and 1920s tapestry feel. For me, it was exactly as I had hoped. A 4-star hotel that is different. Clean, safe (female traveller with teen daughter), designer and conveniently located next to Song Wat. A special shout out to Nice / Rit / Mok for making it a special stay. Thank you"

"The breakfast was not recommended. The selection was limited and the food was not very good. We paid extra to include breakfast, but the value for money was quite poor. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and food delivery is also an easy option. We booked two connecting rooms. They were not inexpensive, but the extra space was definitely appreciated, especially when traveling with a child. One of the highlights was the large bathtub with ambient lighting and massage functions. It was very relaxing and made the stay feel more enjoyable. The rooftop outdoor pool was another highlight. It was a great place to swim or simply relax and enjoy some sunshine during the day. The atmosphere and night views were also lovely. The gym, however, was a disappointment. It was very basic and had limited equipment, so it’s not really suitable if you are looking for a proper workout facility. Overall, the rooms and pool made for a comfortable and relaxing stay, but the breakfast and gym could definitely be improved."

"We loved our triple room on our girls trip. The room was quite large and had filtered water. The buffet breakfast was great and had everything we needed. Being attached to the MBK centre was a bonus. Great things to buy and great restaurants. We had foot massages every night and didn’t have to leave the centre. We had Hot Pot and meals at crab restaurant."
