“My only complaint is that there was a party on the second floor that migrated to the third. My friend had to go out in the hall and ask the partiers to keep it quiet. When we checked out, I told the manager about it. She was understanding but noted that that other group had a reservation, too. I reminded the manager that other guests have to respect their neighbors who may be trying to sleep. She said that she would make a not of it. While the manager was pleasant enough and seemed concerned, I……

“Roaches, alot of them. Had to sleep with one eye open.”

“Friendly and accommodating staff”

“The room was clean, the AC worked great room was spacious enough. The only downside was the shower had no hot water.”

“Excellent location, it’s a hidden gem, the small beach is easily accessible and feels so private. Perfect place to do yoga and meditation viewing the vast ocean view. Owner is so friendly and provided helpful inputs to access the location. Staffs are the best I have ever seen. Being a vegetarian, they were flexible to cook food for my choice. Property is well maintained and the pool is regularly cleaned. I would come back here again!!”

“Great staff, clean room”

“Excellent food. Heard various guests say best food in Camotes. Portions are large and I always ate too much. Highly recommend the curry chicken.”

“I didn’t like space for the toilet seat as it was tiny and I need space for my legs to be comfortably seated while I clean myself. The water pressure of the shower wasn’t normal. It felt like a trickle and it took so long for me to rinse off. Sleeping on the bed was not the best experience because I was scratching my leg area the whole night. I couldn’t be sure if it was caused by dust or insects.”

“Vary old no proper management and maintenance no any single service in room even kettle for hot water not available stair case smell so bad no AC in reception area it’s like no oxygen no any even ventilation in reception area ”

“Vel was the best, was just a quick last minute stop over. But the property manager was amazing. Even drove us then picked us up after a nice restaurant dinner at a fantastic place you would never know without her recommendation.”

“It's a no frills hotel. No elevator for seniors or PWD. Minimal off street parking. The airconditioning wasn't cooling well so they brought me a fan. The hot water heater didn't work so they gave me a bucket and dipper to do a cold bath.”

Due to Metro Manila lock down, according to Govt policy, should be refund. Hotels.com customer service send me the email and reject the refund. It's against the Philippines govt memo. Their contact number is not working.”
