"Everything was perfect, the hotel is 5 min away from Hakata train station. The only downside would be the breakfast which is very simple but still good."

"Keep in mind that you are in Japan so don't expect a spacious room. With that being said, even though the room was a bit tight for my son and myself, everything was five star across the board. The hotel was also within walking distance to the train station, which seemed to be the epicenter of the city."

"Rooms were large enough and clean, but need to be updated. The A/C was remotely controlled and was cool during the day but too hot at night. The breakfast buffet was great. "

"The main problem was at check in. They have a system that scans one's body passport, which is probably a good thing… when it works. At previous APA hotels I’ve stayed at this system has never worked. When this happens, the attendant simply does what needs to be done at their terminal and all is okay. A slight delay but no big deal. Not this time. Again, as expected, the system didn’t work. The young man kept trying it, over and over. He phoned people and tried again. And again. I tried to just remain calm. But after ten minutes I was frustrated and impatient. FINALLY, he gave me a form to fill in, which I did, and he gave me my room key. Such a pain for what should be a simple problem. He needs some training."

"The staff was fantastic, however our non-smoking room smelled like the previous guest was smoking non-stop during their stay."

"Great location - less than a minute walk from Hakata train station and metro. In a side street, so away from all the pedestrian traffic and noise. Super quiet. Room was clean and even includes a massage chair. Bathroom was large and good supply of warm water. Self-check in and out - kinda awkward not interacting with staff. Lobby has amenities to take."

"The room was super small and there is almost no space to open my suitcase. The check in and out were done by a machine and there was no human contact. "
