“Es war eine sehr schöne Erfahrung! Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der Ausblick, das Schwimmbad und das Frühstück – alles war wirklich hervorragend. Auch das am Samstagabend gebuchte Barbecue war sehr gut, und bei dieser Aussicht einfach wunderbar! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt rundum genossen.”

“Ήρθαμε να τρέχουμε σε αγώνα δρόμου και μας αφησανε να κάνουμε check out πιο αργα, ώστε να προλάβουμε νσ κανούμε μπάνιο μετα τον αγώνα. Πολυ φιλικη περιβάλλον, πολυ καθαρό. Το δωμάτιο ηταν αρκετό μικρό αλλά μας βόλευε για μισ νύχτα. ”

“Het was heel erg schoon. Fris beddengoed wat zalig rook. We waren er een week en 2 x handdoeken wissel. Erg schoon en fris. Bij aankomst een hartelijk ontvangst. Water lekkers stonden klaar. Echt een fantastische plek. Alles aanwezig. Het is er stil en weg van het massa toerisme.”

“Check-in was smooth and effortless. For a economy room I expected a shoe box so was pleasantly surprised. Not huge but more spacious than expected and bright. Small patio with a piece of ocean view for poor people like myself. The bed was super comfortable as well as pillows and linens. Breakfast offered MANY choices. No one should go hungry here. Luggage storage was also available. I recommend this hotel with no hesitation. ”

“Just home from a lovely stay at the Selena. The hotel is situated about 1.5-2 km outside of Elounda. It's s pleasant walk in along the coast path and there are buses or taxis in if you don't fancy a walk. All rooms, i believe, have sea views and what a fabulous view I had from my balcony! The island of Spinalonga, just opposite Plaka (smaller town approx 2 km away and in my opinion well worth a taxi ride away for it's wonderful array of different shops and restaurants) is in clear view from……

“We enjoy rambling around ruins & beaches & tavernas -then returning to a comfortable abode. Hiona Holiday Hotel met this prefrence. A clean, uncomplicated small hotel with friendly staff/owners. Our room was one of the smaller ones but still large enough to relax in as well as the balcony. There are larger rooms and larger balcony options. Well maintained pool area and breakfast room.
