“Beautilful hotel by the see”

“We stayed here the night before we boarded our cruise. Great location, amazing staff and nice rooms. Highly recommend”

“Our experience was absolutely magical! Staff and hotel were 5 stars and the location was so convenient to explore all the beautiful areas of the city! I would not stay anywhere else next time I am in Kalamata!”

“Hotel ben curato, grande spazio verde e piscina pulita e spaziosa. Camere ampie pulite e ben servite. Bagno ottimo con doccia grande. Servizio bar perfetto. Due spiagge private sul mare.”

“WIFI is extremely slow and terrible. I had to wait for mid-night to use it as users in mid-night were few.”

“Finding registration lobby is difficult. Parking entrance is not where the navigation apps take you to. From there you wait till someone shows up with golf cart or walk to the lobby. It is manned only by one receptionist. Sea view room is over the street separating hotel building and hotel outdoor restaurant. The area has good restaurants with seating next to water.”

“Wonderful welcome by the owner. Our second visit which we enjoyed more than the first. Room was fine..very comfortable bed..extra pillows provided when asked. Excellent wine with a very pleasant meal in the evening. Breakfast Excellent”

“This is the second year we have stayed at the lovely Viva Mare, we have already booked again for next year. This little gem of a hotel is amazing and you will not be disappointed. The welcome you get from Chrissa, Maria and the team is wonderful, they are always on hand and can help you with any questions you may have, booking trips and restaurants. The hotel is very clean and all the rooms are spacious, cleaned every day and well equipped with cooking facilities (microwave, hob and fridge……

“We really wanted to love the White Donkey & had planned our 14 day Peloponnese tour around it. From all the 5* reviews, we expected something wonderful. Alas, not. Our suite was spacious with two terraces, but neither had sun umbrellas - one didn’t even have a chair to sit on to enjoy the view. The bathroom was small with only a shower over a bath and no hot water at all. Reception said to run it for 10 minutes as we were over the kitchen and they used a lot of hot water. Even after 10 minutes……
