What's nearby

  • I took this photo in Messinia, Greece in summer 2016. It's of Voidokilia Beach and it's surroundings. Voidokilia Beach is on the Peloponnese peninsula and it was the most picturesque beach that I visited during that Greek trip, which was almost exclusively in Messinia. On that mountain is Nestor's Cave and above this are the ruins of a 13th-century Frankish castle (Old Navarino or Palaiokastro). Look closely and you will see :). I didn't get to walk up there. It was brutally hot that day and I spent most of the time at the beach. But, I did make time for some hiking. Near where I took this photo there was a lot of medieval or ancient ruins. Near those beautiful rocks. I had to be careful when walking on them, but it was worth it!

Have stayed here multiple times and never failed to have a wonderful experience. It is really relaxed, family friendly (but calm) and comfortable. The facilities are wonderful, the staff are so helpful and friendly, and the hotel is beautiful. Highly recommend!

The resort was located right on the beach with beautifully kept grounds. The staff was friendly and attentive. Antonia at the reception desk catered to all our requests and the breakfast options each morning were amazing. I look forward to visiting Zoe Resort again.

Wonderful hotel and staff

From the moment we got checked in, the staff were very helpful and courteous. Check in was easy, followed by an escort to the room with explanation of the property and its amenities. The property was extremely clean, user friendly and easy to navigate. The hotel restaurant offered a variety of food that was delicious for those wanting to dine there. The staff were top notch, and not enough could be said about them. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Gialova.

Rooms are fairly basic but with lots of space and great air conditioning. Loved dinner at the restaurant. Fab hotel beach and pool and perfect location to walk to local restaurants and shops on the water. Whole family loved our stay here!

Great hidden spot for a relaxing stay

Great stay if only short. In good location for a nice row of restaurants/bars and ice cream shops. Beautiful beach right on your doorstop and pool is of good size.

The resort offers great breakfasts, a fabulous pool, a beach across the street, and several good dining options. But it really is in the middle of nowhere, which is not bad if you have a car.

Such a lovely hotel. We had an executive suite which was great and whilst the kids had to sleep on beds in the kitchen/living room the terrace gave us a great space. Set in lovely gardens. Big pool. Fab life guard big thanks to Thanos. Lovely location in walking distance to some great restaurants and little shops. Perfect break from the bustle of kalamata. Thanks so much

We were very happy with out choice: Lovely location, very clean, friendly staff, stunning beach views and breakfast terrace, excellent breakfast with fresh orange juice and a good choice of fruit, cereal, yoghurt, cake, eggs and salami/ham/cheese along with greek specialities. However, coffee at breakfast from the machine is really awful, the worst we have seen so far. If you order good coffee from the espresso machine at the bar, it will be charged as an extra.

Lovely hotel but room small with little storage for clothes.(superior room with sea view) Also, over zealous with cushions which were everywhere. There were 6 big cushions on the sofa alone. Location of this hotel was perfect for day trips out to the nearby attractions such as the must see, Voidokilia beach, Kalamaris Waterfall and Pylos, which were all circa 15 min away. The beach at the hotel was great too and would safely say all the nearby beaches are kid friendly and shallow enough for them to enjoy. The hotel is very nice, clean and close too all the nearby restaurants. However the hotel pool is not family friendly as mentioned on the page and Expedia should do better with defining what 'family friendly' means. Pool is only open from 11am, which is late for a family with young kids and the pool it self is 1.85m deep all round and freezing cold. Half of the pool is in the shade so you can feel really cold in near 30 degrees heat. The minor disappointment was in the family villa, the rooms are huge, which is great but they have one 32" TV that only has local TV channels and the usual handful English speaking channels i.e. BBC World News. For the price per night this hotel charges they need to modernise their TVs to larger ones and be able to access TV Apps such as Netflix/ Prime/ Disney etc. Luckily we had the kids iPads so they managed to get by in the evenings but please update the TVs. Overall we really liked our stay and would consider staying here again.

El hotel es muy bonito, ubicado en la playa con mucho frente de playa, restaurante al aire libre de excelente calidad todas las creaciones. Debo hacer énfasis en este tema, comida perfectamente elaborada y deliciosa, felicitaciones al Chef Andreas. Todo el personal muy amable, pasamos una hermosa estancia. Desde aquí se pueden visitar sorprendentes lugares del Peloponeso.

Suggest in winter, prior to guests checking in, to turn the heat on. Our room was 57 degrees farenheight and it took until the following morning for the room to warm up.
