「Our stay at Quinta Da Marka was exceptional. This centuries-old vineyard overlooks the Douro River, with sweeping views in every direction. The accommodations are a newer addition and include seven comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Guests can also enjoy the pool, scenic river-view terraces, and walking paths through the vineyard. 「Such a beautifully appointed accomodation, the views were exceptional. Communication was excellent and we were able to check in 1 hour early. The house itself is stunning and very clean, it smelled amazing as soon as you walked in the door. Breakfast was excellent, all very fresh and a lovely setting. 「Very nice new hotel. Clean rooms, amazing infinity pool and the views to die for. The breakfast was disappointing as the quality of the food was just average and the selection very poor contrasting with the rest of the hotel.」

「Lovely clean spacious room with all the facilities we required. We did use the pool while at the hotel and thought it was excellent with plenty of sun loungers. We had breakfast at the hotel and the food was tasty and plenty of choice. We didn’t have an evening meal so can’t comment on main meals. Overall excellent value hotel and I would have no hesitation in booking again if I’m ever in Chaves.」

「Everything was great but walls are thin if you are a light sleeper, I would definitely stay again! 」

「The property has stunning views and spacious rooms but lack little things like tissue or a waste basket. Our room wasn’t as clean as I expected with random hair in the bathroom. The bathroom had glass walls which is ok but a door for toilet privacy would be appreciated. The shower floor wasn’t tile but linoleum that gave way as you stepped on in. There is a restaurant and bar. Food was tasty. Did not use the pool or spa. 」
