「We had to book this hotel last minute due to issues with our villa. The staff were excellent and could not be more helpful, it was lovely to speak to them and also learn a bit more about the history of the building. They were aware of our situation and ready to help further if needed. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and the breakfast (food, setting, service) was top notch. If you have the opportunity to stay here - definitely go for it! 」

「Villa Lecchi is a beautiful property with some of the best service and hospitality we’ve experienced in our 2 week trip in Italy. The staff were warm and attentive, the views were breathtaking, and the food was exceptional. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner multiple times and every meal was delicious. 「Wir hatten ein zweistöckiges Familienappartment mit drei Duschbädern, Küche, Wohnzimmer, zwei Schlafzimmern...sehr komfortabel. Alles war sauber und ordentlich, teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber nicht störend. Tolle Poolanlage. Frühstück für deutsche Verhältnisse okay. Das Personal überaus freundlich und bemüht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Kritikpunkt: auf der Terrasse gab es keine Sonnenschirme, was es uns leider unmöglich machte, dort auch mal etwas Zeit zu verbringen. 」

「The apartment is in a castle in Certaldo Alta. You have a modern apartment but once you step out of the door you feel like nothing has changed since Boccaccio lived here. Great restaurants down the street. Dolce vita at its best. The family loved it.」

「Pros - Beautiful setting. Fantastic food in an upscale restaurant on site. Cons - A little ways from the highway but the location makes up for it. Both AC units did not work. They tried fixing but, they couldn’t get it to work. 」
