「10 out of 10 on property as it was amazing, room outstanding and cleanliness superb! Service 8 out of 10. Food 9 out of 10 Service 8 only because the breakfast to go pickup seemed unorganized and delayed even though I was the only patron picking up at the time and when I checked out it was a very generic grab of the key without kindness or how I was greeted upon arrival. I never expressed any complaint about the service. Property great and would be hard to beat at any 5 star resort! 」

「Sandra was in touch to remind and provide helpful information days in advance of our trip. The old mansion is gorgeous, with stately old, tall and gnarly silver maples flanking the beautiful entrance. Lots of rocking chairs our front. We lucked out, too, as weather was beautiful. It was a great pleasure to meet Sandra. She took such good care of us. Her breakfasts were first rate, and she had suggestions for about any kind of entertainment in the area. She had many Virginia wines...
