「We liked everything about it but had problems at the dinner we ate there which we think were down to staff errors . The food service was very slow and our main course took 1 hour 30 mins from arrival . The manager did what she could by reducing the cost for us」

「The location is good as well as the service. The breakfast is really tastey. The lady who served our breakfast is really nice and even made me a takeway breakfast when I told her my train would be very early and would miss the breakfast. 」

「There will be free ticket for whitby abbey.
The building is nice and historical. Many facilities for guests to use. I like the drinking water the most.
A bit difficult to find the entrance and the 199 steps to hostel is without light at night. It is a bit dangerous if you back to hostel late at night as you can't see the steps.
The breakfast is very tasty and many different choices to choose.」

「Only thing wrong was we didn’t stay long enough. We loved this little cottage. It’s a beautiful little home away from home. Whitby was fantastic as well. Wish we’d known ahead of time how much we would love it so we could have booked a longer stay.」

「Well we were welcomed by Selma, who was a very pleasant, friendly and efficient host. The room was very comfortable and well equipped….even a little bottle of fresh milk for our tea and coffee, plus a few cookies for us. There was also water available in small bottles in the fridge.
The breakfasts were excellent, fresh fruit and squeezed orange juice! A great selection every day!! The little village had a co-op fully stocked, art store and more across from the station. Unfortunately we didn’t...

「It was amazing from start to finish. The apartment had everything that we needed, including an information pack full of knowledge and recommendations of the area.
It was in a great location, close to all amenities, also with fantastic views.
Would definitely recommend and stay again!」
